
May 4, 2011 – Rome, Italy - Marligo, winner of the recent fashion competition in Rome met Noubikko yesterday during his short visit to the Holy City.Marligo invited him upon hearing Noubikko was in town. The two forged a business relationship.
While the two were sharing experiences in the fashion industry, Marligo discussed potentials of tying up their labels. The presence of press representatives who were invited with Noubikko perked up the publicity of the two immediately.
Noubikko was in route to Catania, Sicily to visit personal friend Giovanni Caloggero, Deputy member with the Italian Parliament and fashion designer Sandro who designs for the house of Gianfranco Ferre.
Noubikko confirmed that he is interested to work with Marligo and said creating a collection line that bears both their names is a good idea. Marligo label will soon be in the market with small letters below which writes Noubikko, a customary label most designers use and Noubikko as well like his line for “Tomi by Noubikko”, “ARTMilan for Noubikko”, and “PereZ for Noubikko” .
The increasing demand of made-in-Italy fashion line amid many nflux of made in other countries will give us more chance to enter the European market, Noubikko said. Successful tie up is not far from us to achieve, Marligo added.
Noubikko has been marketing some of his made-in-Italy collection in selected boutiques in Italy since 2007.
